Motivation
Why another VRML-Viewer? Prior to developing Qiew I evaluated
VRML-Viewers for different platforms. On Windows there have been
plenty of solutions, but all of them required to run an installation
routine. On Linux I either didn't get them to work or they
didn't work in the expected way or they were missing one or the other
feature, which I needed. On Mac OS X the situation was similar.
Therefore I decided to write Qiew - a small and lightweight
program, that can run from a pen drive to display and present VRML models
on the go.
